Flat Cats jazz up Libertyville-area preserve

The Lake County Forest Preserve's Summer Concerts at Independence Grove series wrapped up on a high note Tuesday night with a performance by the Flat Cats.

The Chicago-based band played swinging jazz and blues, contemporary classics and timeless standards at the Libertyville-area preserve's outdoor amphitheater, Millennia Plaza, overlooking a 115-acre lake.
