Bartlett detours for festival, car show Saturday

Bartlett police are advising motorists that North Avenue will be closed between Oak Avenue and Eastern Avenue for the Ignite the Courage's Summer Festival and Car Show from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12.

People attending the event are encouraged to park for free in the Metra parking lots near Oneida Avenue and Eastern Avenue.

Vehicles traveling west on North Avenue will be detoured northbound on Tatge Avenue and then westbound on Morse Avenue. Vehicles traveling eastbound on North Avenue will be detoured northbound on Oak Avenue, eastbound on Morse Avenue and then southbound on Tatge Avenue.

Police advise drivers to be aware of people walking to and from the event, especially on the side streets.
