Route 66 program in Barrington to be held Monday

Barrington Area Library will offer a free Route 66 program Monday, Aug. 7. The adult program will run from 11 a.m. to noon in the library's Zimmerman Room. Participants can converse with others about the classic American road trip and have a chance to find inspiration and advice for planning a vacation. Visitors are encouraged to bring photographs, suggestions and experiences to share. The library is at 505 N. Northwest Highway.
