MainStreet Libertyville hosts Dessert Walk Aug. 5

MainStreet Libertyville's fourth annual MainSweet Dessert Walk will be from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5. The event will be held in conjunction with the David Adler Festival of the Arts, so guests can satisfy their sweet tooth and their passion for the arts all in the same day.

Pick up a ticket and a map of the participating shops and restaurants at the designated MainStreet tent in Cook Park, then begin your stroll around the downtown sampling tasting size portions of desserts and shopping at participating businesses.

Tickets are $15 per sampling of all the desserts (sharing is permitted), and are available online at www.mainstreetlibertyville.org and the MainStreet office at 158 E. Cook; during the First Friday event from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, at the Townee Square Restaurant, 508 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville; during Lunch in the Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 4 in Cook Park; or the day of the event in Cook Park.
