New Wheeling District 21 technology director hired

Alicia Duell has been hired as Wheeling Township Elementary District 21's new director of technology and information services.

Duell was previously director of information services in Lombard Elementary District 44 and department chair of library and instructional technology in Riverside Brookfield Township High School District 208. She has also worked in media center specialist and director positions internationally.

Her hiring was approved Thursday night at a school board meeting.
