Chicago shooting leaves 9-year-old boy dead, man wounded
CHICAGO (AP) - A 9-year-old boy has been slain and a 31-year-old man wounded during a shooting in a Chicago neighborhood.
Police say the shots were fired about 11:15 p.m. Friday by someone in a car that pulled up next to an SUV the victims were in.
The boy was struck in the back and later pronounced dead at a hospital. The wounded man was shot in face, back and chest and was listed Saturday in critical condition.
No arrests have been made.
