A father's claim that is hard to believe

My son works at a coffee shop. If he were to make $100 in tips one day, I'm sure I'd hear about it. He'd find the time at some point to say, "Hey Dad, crazy thing. I made $100 in tips today." Donald Trump Jr.'s son meets a powerful Russian lawyer with connections to the Kremlin during the election, and Trump (a.k.a. Dad) "didn't know about it until a couple days ago". Umm, I don't believe that. I don't think anybody else does either.
