Boycott drinks and we can beat sugar tax

I agree with the people writing against the "sugar" tax in Cook County. This is ridiculous. I stocked up on my favorite beverage. I will never buy my soft drinks again in "Crook" County. I will just drive a little further till I am out of the county to get my soft drinks.

I hope the stuff stacks up to the ceiling in all the stores. That way, they won't collect any tax. It's up to us to not make this work.

When they do people wrong such as this, then we have to do what's right - buy somewhere else.

Eventually, you won't see any Pepsi, Coke, Squirt or other trucks driving in Cook County because the supply will never dwindle. More revenue will be lost instead of gained. It's one for all and all for one.

Make sure you are in. Together we can beat this, but it will take all of us.

Most times our hands are tied over new taxes, but on this one, we can put our boxing gloves on and give it the old one-two. They will be using the cases of pop to hold up the ceiling structures.

The other close counties should be happy. They will be gaining revenue because the people who live in Cook will be shopping there more often.

If you really want the tax removed, just follow the above instructions.
