Community Church of Rolling Meadows Corn Fest and Craft Fair August 5

The Community Church of Rolling Meadows will have their 61st Annual CORNFEST & CRAFT FAIR on Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Craft Fair from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.) Admission to the grounds is free.

The menu features all you can eat sweet corn, grown locally and picked just hours before it is boiled to perfection and smothered in butter. Also, included in the ticket price; a hamburger, brat, or hot dog, relishes, grilled onions, watermelon, & beverage. Meal tickets may be purchased at the door: Adults $13.00; Seniors $11.00; and Children 4-10 $6.00; Children 3 and under Free hot dog meal. (Presale tickets available online at communitychurchrm.com with $1 discount until August 1st) Seating will be "under the tent" for rain or shine enjoyment. Fresh picked sweet corn will also be bagged for sale by the dozen or half-dozen. AND NEW THIS YEAR… we have added a "Drive-thru" to enable you to get a meal to go without getting out of your car!

Our CRAFT FAIR (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) will feature many booths filled with handmade arts & crafts by area artisans, as well as other vendors. Also featured is our popular RAFFLE, with items this year: Cubs and White Sox tickets, an overnight stay at the Abbey Resort in Fontana, WI, 2 Blackhawks Jerseys, and a 50/50 cash drawing. Raffle Tickets $2.00 each.

EXPANDED KIDS AREA - With face painting, and other popular kids activities. Also, the opportunity throughout the day to see police and fire vehicles!

A tradition since 1957, this popular event is a source of community fellowship each August. Come and spend the day with us! Something for everyone!
