Lamah scores 2 goals, FC Dallas beats DC United 4-2
FRISCO, Texas (AP) - Roland Lamah netted twice as FC Dallas responded to conceding an early goal with a burst of four to set up a 4-2 win over D.C. United and move into a share of top spot in the MLS Western Conference.
Ian Harkes opened the scoring for the visitors in the 30th minute with his first MLS goal but Dallas took a 2-1 halftime lead after Atiba Harris' header from Victor Ulloa's corner and Lamah tapped in.
Two minutes after halftime, Maximiliano Urruti fired in a shot from an acute angle through the legs of goalkeeper Travis Worra to score his fourth goal in as many games. Lamah added another goal eight minutes later on a counter attack with Michael Barrios.
Atlanta had a 4-2 win at home against the 10-man San Jose Earthquakes with Josef Martinez scoring twice.
Clint Dempsey scored two goals and the Seattle Sounders beat Colorado 3-1 to register their first win in a month.
Elsewhere in the MLS, Real Salt Lake thrashed the Galaxy 6-2 in Carson, California and the Columbus Crew edged Minnesota 1-0 after Kekuta Manneh's close-range shot in the 58th.
