Schneider hosting health care roundtable Friday

U.S. Rep. Brad Schneider, a Democrat from Deerfield, will host a community roundtable discussion on health care Friday at Waukegan High School.

The event will focus on the efforts underway in Congress to repeal the Affordable Care Act, and what that would mean for Illinois residents.

The roundtable will feature residents of the 10th District, which Schneider represents, describing experiences with the Affordable Care Act and their concerns with the new health care legislation.

This event is open to the public. It takes place from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the school, 2325 Brookside Ave, Waukegan.
