Next? Banning vaccinated kids from parks?

I am extremely disappointed the Naperville Park District caved to pressure from nonscientist regarding the use of Roundup on park district playgrounds. I suspect no one who signed the petition, and no one on the park board, reviewed the science behind their poor decision.

If they had, they would have learned that Roundup is extremely safe, is NOT carcinogenic and is very effective when used properly. Roundup has been studied over and over and over and no responsible scientific group has deemed it dangerous. Only fringe groups reading fake news sites perpetuate the myth Roundup is dangerous.

I urge the Naperville Park District to rescind their decision and instead put in place a scientific review board that would review all such future requests based on real science and stop making poor decisions based on emotions and ignorance. Not doing so sets a dangerous precedent and sends the wrong message to everyone. What's next? A parent petition before the park board urging the board to ban vaccinated children from attending their parks?
