United Way to honor Lake County Hometown Heroes

Nominations are being accepted for United Way of Lake County's Hometown Hero award to celebrate those who volunteer their time, talent and resources to support early childhood literacy.

Nominees must be 21 years or older. Two award winners will be selected and celebrated at the dinner reception of the Women's Leadership Council annual Play A-round of Lake County Kids fundraiser Monday, Aug. 7, at White Deer Run Golf Club in Vernon Hills. Nominations are due by July 7.
