Citizenship 101 class starts Saturday at Dundee Library

The Fox River Valley Public Library District will offer "Citizenship 101: A Complete Course" from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, July 1 through Aug. 19, at the Dundee Library, 555 Barrington Ave. (Route 68), East Dundee.

This free eight-week course will cover the entire process of becoming a U.S. citizen, from general eligibility requirements to taking the Oath of Allegiance. Classes will be taught in English. You must be a permanent resident to attend.

They will discuss the N-400 Application for Naturalization step-by-step. Participants will practice every question and answer for the Civics section of the Naturalization Exam. They will practice every vocabulary word you will need for the Reading and Writing section of the Naturalization Exam.
