Barrington: Choose renewable energy

All village of Barrington residents have gotten a letter from Dynegy Energy this week. All residents will be able to choose to get their electricity from renewable sources or from nonrenewable (traditional power program) sources. The costs of the two options are comparable.

I urge all readers to pick the renewable option. If you do not call, the nonrenewable option will be chosen for you. Renewable energy is the better option as it will provide economic opportunity, has health benefits for our families, and it keeps our air and water clean!
