Remains of woman missing since October found in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - The remains of a 23-year-old Muncie woman missing since October have been found buried in an Indianapolis backyard.

The Marion County coroner's office says Wednesday that it could take about six to eight weeks to determine the cause and manner of Angela Barlow's death.

Police found Barlow's body Tuesday afternoon after receiving a tip.

WXIN-TV reports (http://bit.ly/2sWJmYz ) that forensic anthropologists from the University of Indianapolis say the remains were buried for at least several months.

Barlow's mother, Christina Kramer, tells the television station that finding the body is not closure and that "the closure you want is to bring your little girl home safe."

Barlow last was seen Oct. 27 at a party in Indianapolis. Her car was found in November.
