Town hall meeting on school funding

State Rep. Carol Sente will host a town hall meeting on education funding from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, at Ivy Hall Elementary School, 1072 Ivy Hall Lane, Buffalo Grove. She will answer questions and update a new proposal to provide local schools more than $700,000 in additional state funding. Will Davis, chairman of the House Elementary & Secondary Education Appropriations Committee, Brent Clark, executive director of the Illinois Association of School Administrators, and other educational leaders will be on hand.
