Trump doesn't realize we need other nations
Mr. Trump again proved his ignorance of science by doubling down on his mindless promise to pull out of the Paris climate accord. He puffed that he was saving the jobs of miners and he cares more about Pittsburgh than Paris. By the way, Pittsburgh's mayor is on record as being 100 percent against Trump's political move, which has brought shame upon America and damaged America's place in the world community.
He and Steve "America First" Bannon simply don't realize that America cannot go it alone. They need to realize that joining the likes of Nicaragua and Syria is not a step that will make America Great Again, but instead may send us back to a time of airborne dirt, grime and pollution. Pulling out of the Paris accord disgraces America and surrenders our role as the leader of the free world regarding efforts to save our planet.
If Mr. Trump was really concerned with the miners who are workers in a dying industry, why doesn't he provide retraining for these workers in the renewable energy field? Could it be that Trump and Bannon desire the friendship and money of the billionaire, fossil fuel moguls?
