Cellphones could have been disaster
If General Washington had communicated with his troops via cellphone, the British would most certainly have intercepted those communications and foiled the Continental Army's plans. Thank God that General Washington had the foresight to communicate via courier, or instead of The Star Spangled Banner we'd all be singing God Save the Queen.
