Schaumburg Township paper shred June 10
Schaumburg Township officials will sponsor a free Community Shred event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 10, in the parking lot of the Schaumburg Township building, 1 Illinois Blvd. in Hoffman Estates.
The event is open to Schaumburg Township residents only; businesses cannot participate. Proof of residency will be required.
Paper shredding and media destruction will be provided by Vanguard Archives. Paper shredding is limited to four bags or boxes no larger than 1 cubic foot or 15 by 12 by 10 inches in size. Paper clips, staples and rubber bands do not need to be removed.
Media destruction is for items such as hard drives, thumb drives and backup tapes.
