Church, state and walls

I am outraged that Pope Francis said people who build walls are not Christian. Doesn't he live in a walled city? And, I agree with the person who wrote to the Daily Herald about separation of church and state. If churches get involved in politics, they should start paying taxes on their vast real estate holdings. That would easily solve the budget crisis in Illinois.
