Cook Avenue in Libertyville to close temporarily

Cook Avenue between Brainerd and Milwaukee avenues in Libertyville will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, May 22, to rebuild the brick crosswalk in front of Cook Park.

During the closure, the village parking lot and Chase Bank driveways on Cook Avenue will be accessible only from Brainerd Avenue to the west.

Weather permitting, work is expected to be complete and the road reopened at the end of the work day on Wednesday, May 24.
