Yet another reason to leave this state

Thank you Mr. Allen Drewes for your informative article May 4 about new possible taxes of 6.25 percent on home repair. This shows the total disdain Illinois politicians have for the people of Illinois.

I have a roof replacement proposal of $10,000. If the tax is approved, I will add $625 to that cost and receive nothing for it. They will have given me and the people of Illinois another reason to leave the state.
