Boys water polo: Barrington, Conant meet with sectional title in the balance
The Hoffman Estates boys water polo sectional final will feature the top two teams from the Mid-Suburban West.
MSL champ Barrington (28-2) earned its spot by topping MSL East runner-up Hersey 20-7 in Friday's semifinals. The Huskies wrap up their season with a record of 19-12.
Conant advanced by edging Fremd 9-7 in the final matchup Friday at Hoffman Estates.
The Cougars (19-10) will meet Barrington at 1 p.m. Saturday for the right to play in next week's Elite Eight at Stevenson.
Fremd finishes its season at 14-14.
