Boys track and field: Burlington Central wins 7th straight conference title

Burlington Central's boys track and field team won its seventh straight conference championship Thursday night, taking top honors in the Kishwaukee River Conference.

The Rockets scored 128.5 points to outdistance second place Woodstock North, which scored 103.

Individual event winners for BC included Adam Kries in the 400-meter dash and Michael Kalusa in the long jump. The Rockets also won the 3,200, 400 and 1,600 relays.
