Australian woes in continue in Asian Champions League

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) - All three Australian teams in the group stage of the Asian Champions League have been eliminated.

Western Sydney Wanderers and Brisbane Roar both finished in last place in their groups Wednesday. South Korean club Ulsan Horangi beat Brisbane 3-2 in Group E and Wanderers defeated Shanghai SIPG 3-2 in Group F.

Adelaide United has also been eliminated.

Jamie Maclaren scored two first-half goals from Brisbane, but the team still finished last with four losses from six games.

Also in Group E, Kashima Antlers beat Thai club Muangthong United 2-1 and finished in first place.

Although Shanghai lost in Group F, the Chinese club had already advanced to the second stage.

In the other group match, FC Seoul beat Urawa Reds 1-0. The Japanese team had already advanced.
