I'll remember dark day of House health care vote

The House has voted to pass the new American Health Care Act and Rep. Roskum says it is "reasonable." Are you kidding me?

When the reality of this bill becomes clear with skyrocketing premiums for those of us aged 55 and over, I will remember.

When our children are denied coverage due to pre-existing conditions, and that WILL happen when individual states decide to implement this option, I will remember. My son has a congenital heart condition and is vulnerable.

When the president claims victory for passage of this bill, which goes against his previous promises, I will remember.

Because he and other lawmakers have decided to pass the responsibility for this act on to the U.S. Senate and state governments, I will remember.

Today is a dark day, and I am outraged that the House passed this bill.
