Man arrested in October shooting on Chicago-area expressway
CHICAGO (AP) - The Illinois State Police says a man has been arrested and charged with shooting at a vehicle on a Chicago-area expressway last year.
In a news release, the agency says 23-year-old Allante James Sewell of Frankfort was arrested this week in Will County and charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm.
According to the agency, a person was driving on the Eisenhower Expressway in DuPage County on Oct, 31 of last year when a passenger in a vehicle next to him fired two shots. One shot struck the driver's side door of the man's vehicle.
Investigators recovered the bullet from the vehicle and opened an investigation that led to the arrest of Sewell.
