See 'Circle of Time' film on Elgin Watch Factory Tuesday

The Elgin Community Network's "Elgin Alive Series" program continues from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, in the Elgin Room at the Gail Borden Public Library, 270 N. Grove Ave., Elgin.

Fifteen years ago, the documentary film "Circle of Time" debuted. The film chronicled the history of the Elgin National Watch Factory and the community's response after its closing.

See this award-winning documentary film about the company that shaped Elgin for over 100 years and the stories of the people that worked there. Share your memories and stories of the company that put Elgin on the world map.

The Elgin History Museum will showcase some of its collection of Elgin watches and archival materials.
