Grayslake Charter School 8th graders headed to State for Track

Prairie Crossing Charter School in Grayslake will have 5 students participating in the Illinois Elementary School Track and Field event this weekend May 12-13. The 4 8th grade boys attended last year and placed 11th in the 4 x 200 and are hoping to make it to the podium this year. 4 students will also participate in other events, Emma Coonan 110 Hurdles, Carter Barhorst Discus, Austin Hunter 110 Hurdles and Ethan Mudrick long jump. We are very excited to see such a small school have kids make it to State.
