The 'Do Not Call' list is a joke

I have been on the Do Not Call list since its beginning. It seemed to work at first, but now they just keep calling.

Occasionally I pick up the call and advise them I am on the DNCL, Sometimes they promise to take me off their list. Mostly they just hang up. Threatening to report them is meaningless.

I recently added my cell number and now I get calls on it, too, maybe doing that just opened Pandora's box.

They are tricky rascals that change the caller ID so you think it is someone in your area code. I'm even starting to see them using the same exchange as mine.

But, at least I'm glad to know my credit cards are safe and I thank them for calling regularly to reaffirm it. Anyone know how to do anything to stop these calls?
