Woodland Elementary East Announces Its ROAR Kids for April

Gages Lake--Woodland Elementary East would like to recognize the following students for becoming ROAR Kids during the month of April. Students selected as ROAR Kids demonstrated Being Ready during this month in a variety of ways.

ROAR is part of the district-wide behavioral framework, Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), theme. ROAR represents Respect, Ownership, Acceptance and being Ready to learn (ROAR). This is the seventh year Woodland Elementary East has implemented PBIS.

"When the students at Woodland Elementary East display values that have a positive impact on those around them, we would like to take the time to acknowledge them and encourage all of our students to display these values," said Assistant Principal Mrs. Nicole Bellini.

Congratulations to the April ROAR students:

1st grade: Lily Rodriguez, Christian Tarasiuk, Natalie Szpylman, Ranveer Bhullar, Chase Harvey, Shane Grospe, Anthony Escobar, Delaney Sheridan, Payton Wilson, Hilda Medina, Evolet Castro, Andrea Salazar, Sophia Mateos, Kya Odom, and Austin Aubrey.

2nd grade: Alex Horbatenko, Riley Taylor, Sophia Hernández, Arun Rajan, Brooklynn Smith, Jessica Hedger, Jayden Barnes, Kayliani Gerena, Jocelyn Padilla, Ayleni Avila, Camila Palestina, Melenie Garcia, and Jah'Miz Hoskins.

3rd grade: Anthony Mannino, Cainan Madison, Cailyn Dolino, Gwen Young, Luke Gervasio, Riley McKeon, Madison Michelon, Julia Tuman, Andrea Jasso, Anali Riquelme, Alejandra López, and Aleksandar Marinkovic.
