Three Lake County judges announce election plans

Appointed Lake County circuit court Judges Christen Bishop, Charles Smith and Christopher Stride announced Thursday that they'll be running in the March 2018 Republican primary election.

Bishop, Smith and Stride say they pledge to join forces to inform and educate voters during their campaigns not only about their credentials and experience, but also on the role judges play in serving justice, fairly and with compassion, on behalf of all Lake County residents.

The general election is in November 2018.
