Advocate Good Samaritan receives patient care award
DOWNERS GROVE - Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital has been recognized with the Midas+ Platinum Quality Award for excellence in patient care and clinical outcomes by Midas+ Solutions, A Xerox Company.
It is the 10th consecutive year that the hospital has received the recognition.
The Midas+ Platinum Quality Awards recognize industry leadership and hospital excellence, and are based on achievement and data-driven performance. Each year Midas+ Solutions asks its customers to complete a quality score card, and the hospitals that rank in the top five percent are honored with a Midas+ Platinum Quality Award.
Hospital President Dave Fox said Good Samaritan is proud to be recognized as a leader in quality, focused on implementing evidence-based best practices to ensure excellent patient care.

The score card includes data on utilization efficiency and outcomes, including length of stay, mortality, average daily census, readmissions and more. Nearly 800 hospitals are evaluated.
