Don't veto abortion bill

An Open Letter to Gov. Rauner on HB40: Governor, it has come to this. I am pleading with you to remain true to your (still?) pro-choice stance and support HB 40 when it comes to your desk. This bill will go a long way to provide essential protections to health care access - yes, abortion is health care - to the women of this state. We are in real danger of Roe vs. Wade being overturned, and you have the power to do something that will truly have a positive impact on your constituents (who are strongly in favor of this bill) for years to come. Think of your daughters, perhaps your future granddaughters. Think of mine.
