Woodland Middle School Drama Club to Present the Spring Play April 28 and 29

Gurnee--Woodland Middle School Drama Club will present "Anchors Aweigh" at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 28 and 6 p.m. Saturday, April 29 at the school's Cafeteria A, 7000 Washington St., Gurnee.

Welcome aboard the S.S. Flounder for a fateful voyage filled with odd-ball characters in this production. Follow a romance novelist and her love-sick secretary, a prince, a domineering mother and her sons, and two lively old ladies as they maneuver around the ship and each other! Identities are questioned and secrets are revealed in this wild adventure on the high seas. "Batten down the hatches" for a crazy, all-around fun journey filled with laughs and mystery.

The play is directed by Amy Miller-Garcia.

Tickets will be sold at the door. They are $5 for adults (13 and older) and $3 for children age 12 and younger.
