Sincere caring for all
I enjoyed the uplifting, thought-provoking front page article in the April 10 Daily Herald by Vicki Wilson, spokeswoman for Parents for Privacy advocacy group. It was very refreshing to read an article that was unbiased and fair-minded.
It was about promoting peace and harmony, not divisiveness regarding the transgender debate. It showed true thoughtfulness and compassion and sincere caring for all children and their future versus individuals and groups like the ACLU that promote their agenda no matter what the cost to children of all backgrounds.
If we all showed the empathy and respect toward others the way the author suggests, we would all be getting along a lot better and this world would be a much better place. As the article states: "requiring a balanced approach, protecting privacy for all, eliminating hateful language and being truthful with children ... These things are critical for them now and into the future. The emotional safety, dignity and well-being of every child matters." I applaud Vicki Wilson's efforts and the principles that the Parents for Privacy group are striving to achieve.
