Waukegan police seek armed robbery suspect

Waukegan police are seeking the public's help regarding an armed robbery Thursday.

Police responded about 9:30 a.m. to the Metro PCS store in the 1300 block of N. Lewis Avenue for a reported armed robbery. Police said an employee said a heavy set black male entered the store and showed a knife and took cash. Police did not release the amount taken.

The man was last seen running from the area. Anyone with information on this armed robbery is asked to call the Waukegan police "Tip-Line" at (847) 360-9001.
