Dining events: 2017 Easter specials across the suburbs

Bub City Rosemont

Bub City does brunch and bloodies from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, April 16, with a special visit from the Easter Bunny. The brunch menu includes fried chicken and waffles and beef brisket benedict or hit the build-your-own bloody mary bar. Reel Club Oak Brook

Reel Club serves Easter brunch from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 16. The spread includes a shellfish station, assorted sushi, carved prime rib and ham, an omelet station, a waffle bar, a risotto station and other traditional Easter dishes. $47.95 adults, $19.95 kids 12 and younger, plus tax and gratuity. Saranello's opens from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 16, for a special brunch that includes design-your-own-omelets and waffles, a carvery station, a smoked fish table, pasta stations, shrimp cocktail and ceviche, desserts, as well as make-your-own-mimosa stations for adults and candle tables for kids. $39.95 adults, kids half-price, plus tax and gratuity. Shaw's Crab House

Shaw's Crab House offers both a brunch and dinner buffet from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. Brunch includes a cold seafood and salad bar, a grand hot buffet, a build-your-own omelet station, slow-roasted bone-in ham and the Shaw's Sweets Table. Dinner buffet includes Chef's Table selections like the roasted leg of lamb and Chesapeake fried chicken. Both cost $49 adults, $10 kids 7-12, and free for kids 6 and younger. Devon Seafood + Steak offers a three-course Easter prix fixe menu from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. First course, choose from a baby greens salad, Caesar salad, Maine lobster bisque, or spinach and watercress. Second course choices are: six-ounce center-cut filet, seared Georges Bank scallops, mesquite-grilled Atlantic salmon, 14-ounce bone-in pork chop, jumbo lump crabcakes, four-ounce center-cut filet with seared sea scallops or jumbo lump crabcake with whipped yukon gold potatoes and grilled asparagus. Perry's Steakhouse and Grille

Perry's Steakhouse and Grille opens early at 11 a.m. on Easter Sunday. The restaurant will serve a three-course meal from 4 to 9 p.m. Choose a salad: wedge, spinach and warm bacon vinaigrette salad, Caesar salad, butcher's chop salad with Perry's Italian dressing, Kale salad with jalapeño mint vinaigrette, or the field green, pear and candied pecan salad. The entree is Perry's famous pork chop. Finish it off with the dessert trio of vanilla bean creme brulee with fresh berries, praline cheesecake and Perry's chocolate crunch. $29.95 per person. Tuscany Oak Brook

Tuscany Oak Brook serves Easter specialty items from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday. Try the Granchio Reale, an Alaskan king crab salad, mango, avocado, compote, tomatoes, passion fruit dressing and frisee salad for $16 or the Spaghettini al Gamberetti, spaghetti noodles, roasted jumbo shrimp, zucchini, spicy shrimp tomato cream sauce and shaved green onions for $24. The Easter Bunny hits up Hofbrauhaus from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday. Order off the special Easter menu, which includes Bayrische Kartoffelsuppe, creamy Bavarian potato soup with veggies, sliced sausage and croutons, for $5.99 per cup or $8.99 per bowl; smoked salmon deviled eggs garnished with dill and fried capers on arugula and shaved fennel for $12.99; Geschmorten Lammhaxen, braised lamb shank with green beans, roasted red potatoes and rosemary gravy, for $24.99; Entenbraten, roasted duck with potato dumplings, red cabbage and rosemary duck sauce, for $25.99; Knusprige Schweinshaxen, crispy pork shank with Bavarian cabbage and bacon salad, potato and bread dumplings and HB dark beer gravy, for $25.99; and creme brulee for $9.99. The RAM Restaurant and Brewery

Kids eat for $1 at The RAM on Easter Sunday. With the purchase of each adult's full-price entree, kids 12 and younger can choose from the kids' menu for just a dollar. RAM will be serving house favorites like the Big Red's IPA baby back ribs, Harris ranch sirloin steak, wild Alaskan salmon, and Southern fried chicken with biscuits and gravy.
