Palatine teen missing since March found safe

A missing Palatine teen has been found safe, Cook County Sheriff's officials said Thursday.

Mohamed Massoud, 15, was last seen at about 6 a.m. March 22 at his home in an unincorporated area near Palatine. He was reported missing March 24.

Police Thursday did not give any details as to his whereabouts since then, other than to say he was found safe.
