Softball: Hampshire rallies past Dundee-Crown
Hampshire scored once in the sixth and three times in the seventh to rally from a 3-0 deficit and defeat Dundee-Crown 4-3 on Wednesday.
Delaney Rummell led the Whip-Purs going 2-for-3 with 2 RBI. Morgan Haefling had the only other hit for Hampshire.
Emily Egger pitched the final 6 innings, allowing 1 run with 3 strikeouts.
Sydney Ruggles finished with 9 strikeouts for Dundee-Crown but walked seven. Hannah Gestrich had 2 hits while Andrea Conway drove in two runs.
Rosary 14, DeLaSalle 4: Krystal Cortes (4-4, 2R, 2 RBI), Xandria Olsen (2-4, 3 RBI), Mikayla Cassidy (2-2, 2R, 2 RBI), Chloe Saltijeral (2-3, 2R) and Natalya Flowers (2-3, 2R, 2 RBI) all had multiple hits for the Royals (7-2) and winning pitcher Maura VanBogaert (5 innings 1 ER, 4 strikeouts).
Geneva 14, East Aurora 0: Kate Keller had a double and triple for the Vikings who broke the game open with 13 runs in the third inning. Molly Wrenn and Emily Viebrock doubled, and Viebrock was the winning pitcher.
