Funeral set for disabled woman found in vacant Indiana home

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) - A visitation will be Monday and a private funeral Tuesday for a 19-year-old Indiana disabled woman whose body was found in a vacant Evansville home.

Terrence W. Roach of Evansville is charged with three counts of felony murder along with kidnapping and other counts in the death of Aleah Beckerle. A judge last week entered not guilty pleas on the 24-year-old's behalf.

Beckerle disappeared from her home July 17. Her decomposing remains were found March 27 in a vacant Evansville house next to Roach's residence. An autopsy report remains pending.

Beckerle's visitation will be at Browning Funeral Home in Evansville starting at 2 p.m. on Monday.

The Evansville Courier and Press reports (http://bit.ly/2oJRSsf ) that Beckerle is survived by her mother and two sisters.
