Missing woman, 57, found after wandering in Elk Grove Village

A 57-year-old woman who wandered away from her adult son in Elk Grove Village was found Saturday afternoon, police said.

The woman, a former Winetka resident, was last seen with her son at a gas station near York Road and Devon Avenue at about 9 p.m. Friday. While he went inside, she walked away.

Authorities reported she was found at about 4 p.m. Saturday.
