No excuses, non-voters

As I sit here and digest the election results of April 4th and more importantly voter turnout, a message has clearly been formulated; "We really don't have an issue with the property taxes we pay." When Lake County has a 15 percent voter turnout and numerous precincts in western Lake County have 2 percent or 3 percent turnout, the message is sent. Springfield, you can stop working on a property tax freeze and government consolidation because we are OK with the status quo. No excuse registered voters, this one is on you!
