Hampshire-Henpeck HCE to discuss 'I'm Positive, I'm Aging!'

The Hampshire-Henpeck Unit of Home and Community Education will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, at Heartland Bank, off Route 72 and Warner, Hampshire.

This month, join a discussion on "I'm Positive, I'm Aging!," on being optimistic, maintaining friendship and choosing healthy lifestyle. It is a new way to learn, discuss and enjoy friends. Refreshments will be served by the hostesses, Jan Ihssen and Barbara Janicak.

Plan to attend the annual meeting on Wednesday, May 10, at the Mill Creek Golf Club in Geneva. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. and meeting begins at 11 a.m. Reservations will be due by Friday, April 28, at a cost of $20, which includes lunch, entertainment and a chance to maintain friendships, new and old.

At the March 21 meeting, John Fenzel offered a look into Hampshire's past. The club wants to thank John for his talk, articles, memorabilia and personal discussion. More than 30 friends joined this discussion and a great time and education was had by all. They also wish to thank hostesses Barbara Mursu and Claudia Lake for their delicious treats.
