GOP, show concern over Russian influence

I am deeply concerned about the direction our country is moving. Although legislation is a major concern, I am extremely concerned about the Russian interference in our election as well as the administration's connection with the Russian government.

Every day we hear more information about Cabinet members who have had contact with the Russian government before and after the election.

I served my country honorably in the U.S. Navy, my father served honorably in the U.S. Army during WWII; these allegations shake me to my core and reignites my patriotism for this great country. My father has passed away but I am certain he to would be outraged.

My father and I took this oath when enlisting in the military, "to defend the constitution against enemies both foreign and domestic."

This is the same oath that the Congress takes when entering into office. The Republican leadership has decided that having a pawn in the White house, which will sign any of their bills into law, is more important to them than interference by an adversarial government. They don't seem to mind that the president is also a pawn to the Russian regime. Where are the patriots in Congress? Republican Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham have spoken out and demanded a bipartisan investigation. All other Republicans have abandoned our democracy.

I implore patriotic members of both the Republican and Democratic parties to demand a bipartisan commission to investigate this issue of the Russian interference in our election and any ties the administration has had or currently has with the Russian regime.
