I-88 westbound lanes reopened after semitrailer crash

Westbound lanes of Interstate 88 at Route 47 have reopened after a semitrailer carrying garbage rolled over about noon today, Illinois State Police said.

The crash involving the semi and a minivan occurred at 12:11 p.m. Illinois State Police reported minor injuries.

The crash caused delays as authorities responded to the scene. Police reported all lanes were opened about 3 p.m.
