Grain higher, livestock lower
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery was 3.20 cents higher at $4.31 a bushel; May corn was up .20 cent at $3.68 a bushel; May oats was down 1 cent at $2.2440 a bushel while May soybeans gained 2.40 cents to $9.4060 a bushel.
Beef lower and pork mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle was .75 cent lower at $1.1868 a pound; April feeder cattle was down 1.10 cent at $1.3198 pound; April lean hogs lost .50 cent to $.6430 a pound.
