Experience, skill distinguish candidate
In our current political climate, it is a rare opportunity to elect an official who is as compassionate, generous, educated and experienced as Robin O'Connor for Libertyville township supervisor.
As an educator for 34 years, Robin mentored a diverse population of students. Currently, she is an instructor at Northwestern University and has a doctorate pending upon dissertation in Leadership Management. Do you want a leader trained in leadership? Vote for Robin.
Her education is matched by valued experience. As a township trustee for the past 12 years, Robin helped to create new open space trails for the public to enjoy and the implementation of a new food pantry that serves the entire township on a weekly basis.
Robin has been a guest speaker, training others on leadership at educational conferences and conventions. She will easily lead our township to greater service, empowering the trustees and officials to do their best- because she understands the big picture.
Robin will implement her goal of modernizing the township website, so there is 100 percent transparency in keeping citizens informed. Honesty in politics? If that sounds like something you want in a leader, vote for Robin.
She is a staunch supporter of open spaces and has the opinion that all elected positions should have term limits. Why? Robin believes elected officials should be working to do a great job, rather than working to be elected.
This Robin has a new song to sing- She's collaborative, honest, educated, and experienced. It's time for a fresh start to take our township to a greater level of service. If that's what you are looking for in a leader, vote Robin for Libertyville township supervisor on April 4.
