Vernon Hills Earth Day event

The Vernon Hills Park District is hosting an Earth Day family event from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 21, at its maintenance facility, 1400 Indianwood Drive, Vernon Hills. The first 250 families will receive a reusable bag filled with earth friendly items. Visitors can win sustainable/environmentally responsible items for the home, garden, and office. A walk through Century Park with certified arborists also will be offered. Registration is not required.
